HOOKED

HOOKED formed in 2002 when Tyrrell, seeking new musical collaborators, happened upon an old friend and business associate Chris Midas, and they decided to 'hook' up. After an experimental bootleg release, they together decided to steer their creative direction headlong into tough, electronic house music for the dancefloor.

HOOKED released their first record 'Step Right Up' on December 15, 2003 on Elementary Records and it received rave reviews in DJ Magazine, Jockey Slut & Mixmag as well as reach number 7 in the Buzz Chart and was included on Ministry Of Sound's 'Clubbers Guide 2004'. Their second single 'Now I Get My Kicks' featured vocalist Kym Brown from the indie rock band Receiver. January 2005 saw the release of the 'Back 2 The Groove EP' featuring 3 tracks including 'Heavy' which was included on Ministry Of Sound's 'Clubbers Guide 05'.

Their remix of Smokin' Jo & Tim Sheridan's 'Nastydirtysexmusic' has led to a remix project and new single for Stephen Lee's SR2 label.
